Jim has owned this immaculate Oldmobile 98 for 35 years and only drives it to shows; otherwise it’s in his garage. It’s original except for having been painted 8 years ago.
The motor is a 371 cubic inch Rocket J2 V-8 with three factory installed two barrel carburetors. Jim is a regular at Lombard and I hope to take more shots of this car because it’s close to the first car I remember my family owned, which was a black 1958 Oldsmobile 98 four door. His schedule only enables him to attend the Lombard show.
