Westchester Cruise Night – Paul

Posted on 10/29/2012 by gsghert01

A friend and I went to Paul’s Pizza today for lunch and to speak with Paul. He looks strong and still has his firm handshake, although he knows he’s not 100%. I showed him a photo book I’d made of the ‘2012 Cruise Night and …’ season at Westchester and that pleased him. He loves his cars and would enjoy seeing his car show buddies; he has cut back his hours at the restaurant so you may want to call ahead. Oh yeah, he’s gearing up for the 2013 Cruise Night season so watch your e-mail.

Westchester Cruise Night 10-8-2012 post

Posted on 10/09/2012 by gsghert01

Clearly the season is winding down and since Paul wasn’t feeling well, there was no music at the Cruise Night (I’ll add some I like soon so my website has the car show mood). I don’t know if there will be one last event on the 15th in Westchester but hopefully so. It was cold and surely that scared off many.

This was the last Westchester event of the 2012. I can’t wait for the first Cruise Night in 2013.

Here is my teaser gallery for the show, including mostly multiple exposure night shots.

Sears Auto Center Car Show 10-7-2012 at Harlem & North, post

Posted on 10/08/2012 by gsghert01
1965 Pontiac GTO

1965 Pontiac GTO

The season is winding down but I found a car show in my back yard. There were quite a few cars ‘I know’ as well as a number of new ones including the ‘twin’ of Bill’s original owner black 1965 Ponitac GTO. This is not Rich’s GTO but Bill’s (also a ‘side mirror delete’) but they do look identical (sorry I got no shot of the GTO today). There were at least 60 cars.

My teaser gallery is here and “listen to the music” from the show.
