1954 Ponitiac Star Chief
There must’ve been many car owners watching the Blackhawks game and/or unaware of the favorable weather forecast (Geno said he didn’t know how to find that so he left his ’56 Olds Ninety Eight at home). Geno had just recognized his neighbor as the drummer for the event’s band, Rick Lindy and the Wild Ones so we hung out listening to rockabililly and rock music. They covered so many of my favorites and here is a link to their website which lists artists they cover. See my teaser photo gallery at this link. 1968 Barracuda
Sam bought this 1968 Plymouth Barracuda in 1984 and I’ll be adding it to my Rogue’s Gallery page of long time owners. The interior is original and the car was repainted in the original color. The motor is a 340 with a 4-speed transmission. The ‘numbers match’ so it’s an original car.
1960 Bonneville
This fellow dressed for the Bonneville but he’s not the owner. I didn’t even have to ask him to pose.

These are my first efforts at video recording of music and the video is jumpy because I shot handheld. The first video required manual exposure and live view because the bright backlighting would’ve rendered the band as mere shadows.

As the band covered Elvis’ Mystery Train, a Metra train pulled into the picture behind them but this freight fills the frame better. On the left is a gentleman with Elvis hair and sideburns whom I’ve seen before.
