Tonight’s featured vehicles were trucks, farm and military vehicles. The entertainment was the After Hours Band; and here is some of his music.
1939 Olds
This car is a 1939 Oldsmobile and it is very special to Fred, the owner. He saw pictures of a car just like this in his baby book; and was told he’d been born in the back seat of his dad’s Olds before they could get to the hospital. This car is just like that one.
1963 Ford
This 1963 Ford Galaxie convertible has been ‘in the family’ since it was bought new by Sharon’s parents. The car was driven by the mom and dad and then given to the driver’s wife as her ‘sweet 16’ Senior in high school first car; there was a proviso – she had to drive her mother wherever she wanted to go. There was only one time since they almost bought a red car which she’d always wanted.
